Overview
Tough and no-nonsense, the new X-Bolt Hunter Composite, TCB is a bolt-action rifle built for hunting big game in hardwoods, mountains, and deserts with features designed to maximize accuracy.
Like all X-Bolt 2 rifles, the Hunter Composite is built on a receiver design with additional bolt guidance surface for smooth, fast cycling. The bolt is also new with weight-saving spiral fluting and a new handle knob. These components are protected with a tough Tungsten Cerakote finish.
X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite TCB Features
- Black Vari-Tech stock features adjustable length of pull, adjustable comb, interchangeable grip modules, and contrasting gray overmolded grip surfaces
- Spiral fluted bolt with ergonomic bolt knob and handle shape
- Tungsten Cerakote® finish on the bolt and trigger guard
- Sporter contour barrel with non-reflective matte blued finish for the ideal blend of accuracy and weight savings
- Radial muzzle brake with Tungsten Cerakote finish reduces felt recoil (thread protector included)
- Rotary magazine
- 1-1/4" Inflex II recoil pad
X-Bolt 2 Features
- Receiver features additional bolt guidance surface area for smoother operation
- Patent-pending adjustable DLX Trigger set to hunting weights
- The action is bedded at the recoil lug and action screws for stability and to free-float the barrel
- Bolt Unlock Button works in conjunction with the top-tang safety to provide an added measure of safety during checking and unloading of the chamber
- Easy to reach top-tang safety
- Short 60° bolt lift is fast cycling and clears large optics
- X-Lock Scope Mounting System uses four screws per base for rock-solid attachment to the receiver
