Requirements: Candidates must be a Canadian Resident and 18 years of age or older

To be eligible to apply for a PAL, classroom participation in the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) is mandatory for first-time licence applicants. Once the course is completed, individuals will then have to pass the tests.

The content of this course is controlled and approved by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Canadian Firearms Program (CFP) and delivered by an approved instructor.

Topics covered in the CFSC include:the evolution of firearms, major parts, types and actions;basic firearms safety practices;ammunition;operating firearm actions;safe handling and carry procedures;firing techniques and procedures;care of non-restricted firearms;responsibilities of the firearms owner/user; and,safe storage, display, transportation and handling of non-restricted firearms.

                           Cache Tactical Training Center 

                            2110 - 7th Ave 

                           Regina, SK

                           Use entrance on East side of building facing Scarth St.

Time: Course will start at 9am sharp! Doors will be open by at least 8:30am for access to the training center.

Parking: Please use street parking along Scarth St.

What to bring: Valid Government issues photo ID - Drivers License is best example, however, passports, permanent residency cards and First Nations Status cards are also acceptable. 

Lunch - there will be a 1 hour lunch break where you may leave the premises. Nearby food options range from restaurants like Bushwakker's or fast food such as McDonalds. If you choose, you are also welcome to bring a packed lunch for yourself and eat on premises for you lunch break.
